Can coinsoftworks close my account?
Updated: Oct 3, 2023
In short: yes.
As a completely licensed business, coinsoftworks is required to conduct routine technical reviews of customer accounts. As a regulated institution, this enables us to assure the safety and security of coinsoftworks account funds.
Occasionally, the results of these routine reviews may necessitate that we sever ties with an account holder.
The account proprietor will be notified via email whenever this occurs. In all circumstances, coinsoftworks will only contact you at the email address associated with your account. In this email, you will find detailed instructions for the next actions you should take.
Always be vigilant and confirm that the email was sent by coinsoftworks. We will only contact you via the email address associated with your coinsoftworks account, never via SMS or phone, and we will never request your coinsoftworks account information, password, or credit card information.
How can coinsoftworks close my account? We have three options for closing your account: two months' notice, fourteen days' notice, or immediately. These cancellations are irreversible; our Customer Support is unable to provide background information on individual cancellations or rescind the decision. You may also terminate our business relationship at any time, without notice and for any reason.
2 months notice: We may terminate any business relationship with two months' notice and no explanation (see section 14 of our Terms and Conditions or 664h of the US Virtual Asset/Cryptocurrency Code).
14 days notice: Also, we can terminate any business relationship with 14 days' notice (see section 14 of our terms and conditions) if reasonable cause is provided for the breach of contractual obligations. Examples include, but are not restricted to:
Using a personal account on behalf of someone else. According to our T&Cs, a private account may only be used for personal use. Any credit transfers that relate to another behalf is strictly prohibited.
Incorrect or insufficient information provided for a routine background investigation. As a cryptocurrency platform involving selling for fiat, we occasionally perform checks on transactions. In order to comply with the US financial regulations, we reserve the right to terminate our business relationship with you if you fail to provide accurate and/or sufficient information about the transaction in question.
Displaying abusive behavior toward personnel of coinsoftworks. We don't tolerate abusive behaviour towards our employees. The threat of physical injury or general abusive behavior may constitute a criminal offense under US law and will be reported without exception to the appropriate authority.
Immediate cancellation We may also terminate any business relationship on an extraordinary basis (see section 14 of our T&Cs). That means at any time, without notice and without a cancellation period, if there is a valid reason for such a termination. Examples include, but are not restricted to:
Providing coinsoftworks with false information about your financial & legal situation, particularly when abusing from virtual card.
Failure to comply with coinsoftworks 's requests about your identity verification.
