You will be the inaugural member of the newly formed Corporate Strategy team at coinsoftworks. The Corporate Strategy team provides thought leadership to the organization and plays a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing opportunities in new customer segments and geographies that will drive coinsoftworks's long-term growth. This is where you come in; as the Strategy Analyst, you play a crucial role in how the team functions, which requires both structured problem-solving thinking and a hands-on approach to getting things done.

What You'll Do 

 

Market Research & Analysis

• You will direct the research, analysis, and narrative of industry trends throughout the digital asset ecosystem.

• You will be responsible for synthesizing data and research findings into strategic and compelling insights that will transform thinking and inform product strategy, decisions, and roadmaps.

• You will direct the development of deep-dive decks and papers for highly strategic areas and present the resulting findings to executive leadership.

• You will be analytically minded and able to conduct strategic analysis such as SWOT and scenario planning.

Customer Segmentation

• With the ability to map and segment different geographic and industry-based markets, you will always be in the lead when identifying potential new customer segments for coinsoftworks.

• You will have the ability to develop hypotheses about the most attractive strategic opportunities that will drive growth for coinsoftworks

• You will be responsible for evaluating the product-market fit for potential new customer segments, conducting analyses to identify gaps, and determining the size of the addressable market in the identified segments.

• You will have a solid grasp of our customers' needs and issues in the identified market segments.

• Using market size, growth potential, and risk as criteria, develop and implement a transparent prioritisation methodology to identify coinsoftworks's most attractive growth opportunities.

• You will create solid business cases for the prioritised opportunities and contribute to the investment prioritisation process.

 

Competitor Analysis

• You will routinely conduct competitor evaluations of direct and indirect rivals

• You will be a creative problem solver who utilizes both public and non-public sources to gain competitor insights.

• You will continually evaluate the competitive landscape and our market position

 

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

• You will provide regular updates to the coinsoftworks Leadership team regarding your findings.

• Cross-functional collaboration and partnership with the Data, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Compliance teams

 

You should apply if 

• You have a minimum of two to three years' experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.

• You have a keen interest in the digital asset industry, particularly web3, NFT's, DeFi, and DeFi.

• You have prior experience or a solid grasp of the payments and fintech industries.

• Excel is a subject you have mastered in its entirety.

• Excellent knowledge of strategic management models

• You are a highly motivated, self-directed individual with a solid grasp of business strategies and drivers.

• You have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience creating and presenting high-quality, executive-ready deliverables.

• You naturally possess strong analytic abilities

What will put you on top of our shortlist 

• Prior experience working in the digital asset industry and a comprehensive understanding of all things crypto are required.

• Previous knowledge of SQL
